Unless otherwise noted, most trailer wheels are Lug Centric and must be balanced using the lugs and NOT the pilot/hub.
<br>The pilot hole of a lug centric wheel is not the true center. These wheels cannot be accurately balanced with a center cone system found in most tire retailers. Balancing with a center cone system may make the wheel seem bent or off-center but this is not accurate. For accuracy, these trailer wheels must be mounted on the balancer using their lug bolt holes.
